Abstract
All kinds of mechanical shaft torque, also can produce torsional vibration under the force. In order to improve the safety of operation, testing and monitoring torsional vibration of the shaft are very important. In this paper we proposed the new method using high-speed linear array CCD to measure torsional vibration of the shaft. Based on the motion of spiral marker line which is output images of the CCD, we can get torsional angle and torsional moment in any section of the shaft. Compared with the existing methods, stable, large amount of data, high precision, implementing convenient, non-contact measurement and can be measured more than once more and any section of the shaft etc.
