Abstract
The characterization of generalized decentralized fixed modes (GDFM) and impulsive decentralized fixed modes (IDFM) in linear decentralized descriptor systems is considered. Some sufficient and necessary conditions for the existence of GDFM and IDFM in such systems are formulated using the concepts of general systems. The results show that GDFM and IDFM of N -channel linear decentralized descriptor systems can be regarded as finite (centralized/decentralized) fixed modes of (N -1)-channel general systems with lower dimensions
