Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce a fast noniterative method based on fast marching method and coherence transport for metal artifacts reduction (MAR) in computer tomography (CT). This method can be classified as a projection interpolation method. In the experiments section, we compare our method with linear interpolation (LI), cubic spline interpolation (CSI) and total variation (TV). The results demonstrate that our method have similar high level of quality of TV, while being fast as LI and CSI.
