  • Abstract
Recently electricity tracing flow method has been introduced which allows one to trace the flow of electricity in a meshed network. Traceable flow method algorithm has been developed with using proportional sharing method. This algorithm has been resulted some contribution coefficients. These coefficients are obtained based on the results of ordinary load flow or optimal load flow. The energy cost, loss cost and congestion cost can be calculated with using these coefficients. In this paper, the total loss cost (price) in traditional and competitive environments is calculated using this algorithm. This total loss cost (price) has been concerned to power system operator model in each environment. Then we can allocate the total loss cost (price) to each network player by using contribution coefficients of tracing flow method. Finally at the end of the paper, this method is applied to a typical system and the results are presented.
