Abstract :
A review is given on mechanisms of the chaos onset in electronic circuits. The focus is made on the class of chaotic states which can arise in weakly nonlinear systems. Different practical devices and circuits are considered to illustrate roads to chaos and properties of chaotic oscillations. The formation of chaotic states due to the interaction of high- and low frequency modes and due to the destruction of trains of pulses in digital circuits are considered in details.
