Abstract :
The paper discusses briefly what the Personal Software Process (PSP) entails from the point of view of a student that went through the requirements of the PSP course. The author completed this course as part of the requirements of the Master of Software Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. The paper gives some background about the university and the role of the PSP in the mentioned masters program. It describes what the PSP course entails from a user´s point of view. The results achieved by the author in terms of estimation, productivity, and quality are discussed. The paper also states the set of goals determined by the author at the end of the course. Finally, it concludes with the focal points that the author considers can be learned by going through the PSP course
