Abstract :
This work presents low complexity channel estimators to be used in space-time block codes for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing systems. The proposed estimators, which are frequency based, permit the use of real or complex constellation modulation techniques and allow to send the channel information without interrupting the space-time coding-decoding process, only requiring of linear processing at the receiver. Simulation results show that the proposed estimators achieve considerable gain over existing least square estimators.
