Abstract :
The authors present the design and development of an intelligent navigational system for automobiles. The system uses a PC interfaced to the sensors mounted on a vehicle. It can be used with a structured road network and provides a facility to plan and visit intermediate unstructured places between the source and the destination. The graphic display provides an overall perspective of the topology of a region while additional turn indicators on the dash board help guide the driving without loss of concentration
