Abstract :
This work is devoted to the study of fixed-point conversion of algorithms for a MC-CDMA system, which has become a promising access technique for 4G-air interface. The float to fixed-point conversion will allow an optimised implementation of algorithms on DSP and/or FPGA, by making adequate trade-offs between functional performance and corresponding complexity. The fixed-point conversion is first all presented. Then, the performances of two fixed-point interference cancellation techniques are given. It is shown that the fixed ORC detection technique provides better performances than MMSE, with less complexity.
