Abstract :
A comprehensive analysis of a three-phase to single-phase direct frequency changer structure capable of producing balanced output voltage and current when the input voltages are amplitude-unbalanced is presented. A simple example is used to illustrate the proposed voltage balancing principle, and it is supported by simulation. The simple control logic circuit and the six-switch converter configuration required make the proposed technique attractive economically as well as practically
