Abstract :
Based on linear combination with differential Gaussian pulse, a designing impulse radio waveformspsila method for ultrawideband (UWB) wireless communications was investigated. According to the spread spectrum effect of the shaping factor and differential coefficient, a novel method on constructing differential Gaussian pulse was proposed. So as to gain the best weight coefficient, a integrated algorithm based on the minimum mean square error (MMSE) and weight coefficient calculation is applied to the signal construction. The simulation results show that the linear combined UWB pulse indoors and outdoors have the best ability of limit approach to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) emission mask rule, and whatpsilas more, it has the best performance of bit error rate (BER) and ranging and many other merits, such as high rate of using spectrum, strong controllable power and flexible design, et al.
