Abstract :
A new expression for the statistical description of the output of an OFDM signal applied to a general small and large signal model of a memoryless nonlinear amplifier is derived. Based on this some new results for modulation fidelity (MF) deterioration due to power amplifier (PA) nonlinearities and its amelioration by the application of PA linearisation are presented.
