Abstract :
Paper concerns DC motor drive equipped with the adaptive estimator of the electromechanical subsystem. The estimator is used for load torque estimation, moment of inertia estimation and speed estimation. The new estimator has the extended parallel model of the electromechanical subsystem. The paper concerns also the choice of estimator parameters for obtaining better noise filtering of speed and faster estimator response. As the result, the whole speed control system features with short regulation time. The lack of the speed overregulation is obtained not depending on the moment of inertia and motor constant. The high resistance of the motor speed to the load torque steps is also obtained. The position encoder with the low resolution is used.
