Abstract :
In this correspondence, a method of generation of maximum length sequences obtained from nonlinear feedback shift register (NFSRS), which are known as de Bruijn sequences, is proposed. The proposed method produces r-ary de Bruijn sequences by means of combining several short period sequences generated from linear feedback functions. The number of obtainable de Bruijn sequences by using the proposed method is also examined.
