Abstract :
On the grounding of guidelines of some European educational documents generated by Bologna Declaration of 1999, and GOS VPO of the Russian Federation is considered our experience of tutoring to discipline "Electromagnetic compatibility of power electronics converters" according to the requirements of competence-based approach. The state educational standard (SES) of the Russian Federation allocates three levels of check of education quality (competences): "to know", "to get a skill", "to master the skill". Here it is necessary to take into account, that the volume of textbooks on power electronics already comes nearer to 1000 pages, and also an abundance of the information on EMC and practically absence of textbooks on it. This EMC material is more difficult for entering all in frames of 34 hours of lectures. It requires increase of a level of generalization of a teaching material. Besides, according to three levels of an estimation of results of education of students teaching also should be in appropriate way reorganized On this way we use four methodical innovations: the system approach to all types of converters, similarity of principles of construction of circuits of converters, a uniform direct method of the analysis of quality of transformation of electric energy, a number of new information tools of training (the databases of converters, the knowledge bases, electronic trainer of the mathematical formulas, advising expert systems for structural designing of converters).
