Abstract
Intra- and inter-scan intensity inhomogeneities are a common source of difficulty in conventional intensity-based segmentation of MR images. In this paper, cluster analysis is used for initial classification. The final result is obtained by using adaptive segmentation which estimates the bias field and corrects the intensity inhomogeneities of multi-spectral images
