Abstract :
An advanced achievement in the applicability of ultrasound would be obtained if one could use it to closely identify specific characteristics, even down to the nature of amino acids in protein of living tissue. Energy is considered to be absorbed by hydrolysis in the constituents of the tissue and by the relaxation process at low frequency and by the relaxation process of motions of side chain alone at high frequency. The authors describe a study in the relaxation process on tissue characterization by using the analysis of ultrasonic absorption spectrum and attenuation, when the temperature is changed. Energy is the thought to be absorbed by hydrolysis in the constituents of the tissue and by the relaxation process at the low frequency and by the relaxation process of motions of side chain alone at the high frequency. The authors describe a study in the relaxation process of tissue characterization by using the analysis on ultrasonic absorption spectrum at the fatty hen liver
