  • Abstract
Eyes require a high resolution scan image. The authors have developed a series of 10 MHz ultrasonic A/B scanners for ophthalmology which can be used to diagnose diseases of the eye and measure axial length. Vertical resolution of B images is less than 0.5 mm. Lateral resolution is less than 1.0 mm. Precision of biometry measurement is 0.1 mm. These instruments have been getting a wide use in over 300 hospitals in China
