Abstract
Current research initiatives in the area of service oriented architectures mainly concentrate on the technical aspects of the service composition and assembly. Difficulties and problems in service oriented analysis and design are often overlooked. This paper introduces the new method and models for proper alignment of business architecture, business processes and services. The paper describes the integration of service oriented analysis and design principles with enterprise architecture principles, to create a new method and models required for the improvement of servicespsila composition and assembly in process-oriented information systems.
