  • Abstract
In order to study the nitrogen and phosphorus removal performances, the set-up of a submerged membrane bioreactor (sMBR) combined with an aerobic granules technology (aerobic granular sludge submerged membrane bioreactor, AG-sMBR) was studied in this research. The formation of aerobic granule and stability at 10°C was observed. Then the diameter and settle performance of aerobic granular sludge was analyzed. The results presented a better aerobic granular sludge condition in order to receive a remarkable enhancement of the effluent quality in terms of COD removal and nitrification in later experiments.
