Abstract :
The CERN NA62 experiment aims to measure the ultra-rare charged kaon decay K+ ¿ ¿+¿¿¿ with a 10% accuracy. For the reduction of the background from the decay of the K+ ¿ ¿+¿, a Neon-filled RICH detector is being built, to have a good ¿-¿ separation between 15 and 35 GeV/c. The final detector is described and the preliminary results from a test of a prototype equipped with 414 photomultipliers are presented.
