Abstract
DNA sequencing is one of the important aspects of genetic engineering. We applied digital image processing techniques to this study, and also introduced a recurring algorithm of adaptive segmentation to perform such sequencing. As shown in the experimental results, this method has its own characteristic. Specifically, it enhances the recognition of DNA sequence to become quicker and more efficient. Since the future of biotechnology is very promising, we believe that further research in this field using digital method is worthwhile
