            Abstract :
A Monte-Carlo simulation of the Multi-Pixel Photon Counter (MPPC) response has been developed by the T2K collaboration. Its purpose is to understand how MPPCs affect the overall detector performances. The same MPPCs can be used in numerous applications including Positron Emission Tomography. The performances of MPPCs coupled to LYSO crystals are investigated by comparing data to simulations. The measured timing resolution is well reproduced by simulations.
