Abstract
Scheduling and power management schemes are the most important techniques to maximize the lifetime of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). Therefore, the authors have proposed a scheduling algorithm for multiple-target coverage (MTC) problem in WSN. The proposed power-saving scheduling algorithm has been considered both the transmitting power and overlapped targets. Simulation result proves that the presented algorithm can prolong the network lifetime.
