Abstract :
A pacing ECG monitoring system is introduced. It is a pacing ECG acquisition system based on personal computer. A unique signal processing method is used in this acquisition system. Pacing pulse has been separated from pacing ECG. The system processes, and displays the characteristic parameter of pacing pulse, while it samples and displays ECG in real time. The pacing impedance reflects the connection situation between pacemaker, electrodes and endocardium. The pacing system malfunction can be detected by analyzing pacing ECG and the pacing system performance. Pacing ECG is analyzed in real time, and the monitoring report is given. The design of system hardware and software are described in detail. It can be used for ICU and follow-up of patients with implanted pacemakers
