Abstract :
An iterative algorithm is presented for the problem of high-frequency radio direction-finding (HFDF) for both coherent and noncoherent radiating sources. The algorithm is regarded as an extension of the technique of subspace rotation, first proposed by A. Paulraj et al. (1985). Computer simulation results carried out to investigate the comparative performance of the algorithm and of MUSIC under various conditions are included. The algorithm has superior performance to the MUSIC algorithm and usually converges in a few steps.<>
