Abstract :
The DQDB metropolitan area network ISO/TEC 8802-6 double bus configuration allows support of time critical and highly reliable applications. Simulation modeling and analysis of the DQDB network in the transient period following the reconfiguration procedure is presented in this paper. The throughput and unload time are the performance measures. The protocol improvements are proposed
