  • Abstract
Formulas are developed for directly finding electromagnetic field wherein the vector differential operations are replaced by simple vector algebraic operations. The resulting field solutions are exact, with no approximation used, and can be explicitly written in a matrix formulation such that both the current distribution and the resulting field are conveniently expressed in terms of various coordinate systems. If the radiating fields in the near- or far-field are of primary interest, the formulation is greatly simplified; the electric and magnetic fields are simply determined by matrix product whenever the radiation vector is calculated.<>
