Abstract :
A simple inexpensive positioner has been developed for guiding a rectal ultrasound probe to enable quick and accurate placement of applicator needles in the prostate gland for high-dose rate brachytherapy treatment. During the past year, this equipment has assisted in the treatment of over 30 patients
