Treatment of coal chemical wastewater by the process of coagulation, the deposit of magnesium ammonium phosphate and UV/Fenton catalysis oxygenation was discussed. The coagulant is poly aluminum chloride, the precipitators are MgCl2 and Na2HPO4. The removal efficiency of COD was affected by pH value, stirring time, the dosage of coagulant and the ratio of precipitator, make certain the optimum conditions. The factors which affected the removal efficiency of COD were discussed: pH value, the dosage of FeSO4 and H2O2, radiating time and obtain the optimum conditions. The results showed that COD concentration reduced to 191.79mg/L and removal efficiency up to 85.82%, BOD5, NH3-N, volatile phenol, cyanide and chroma with removal efficiency of 78.91%, 74.88% 96.15%, 33.94% and 99.50% BOD5/COD was improved from 0.35 to 0.58 and the biochemical nature is advanced effectively.
