  • Abstract
A periodic source function is introduced that acts like a Green´s function yet eliminates wraparound aliasing that is associated with solutions for the integral and/or integro-differential equations arising from scalar and vector-wave equations represented by simple products in the Fourier domain. Implementation of the periodic source function has the effect of having at most to double the linear dimensions of a numerical window to exactly eliminate wraparound aliasing. A theory of periodic source functions is derived for one-dimensional problems.<>
