In the process of retting flax, there is a large quantity of wastewater with bad smell and high concentrated organic substances. In this paper study on air flotation/fly/soil-percolation of treating retting flax water has been conducted. The results showed that the retting flax wastewater could be well treated by air flotation/fly/soil-percolation.The maximum removal rate of CODcr, lignin were 95%-98% and 80%-89%. The treated wastewater could be reused to ret flax, so that the obvious economic and environmental benefits could be achieved.
