The development of new wastewater treatment processes becomes increasingly essential with the identification of more and more contaminants, rapid growth of population and industrial activities, and diminishing availability of water resources. A low cost system, decompression-dehydration-drying system, was reported for the recycling and reuse of wastewater in this paper. The emphasis was placed on its basic principle, main applications, and new advantages.
