Abstract :
Ku-band transmission is sensitive to rain, which will cause additional signal attenuation. Signal, channel, and mitigation techniques are modeled to simulate this transmission. Evaluated by its BER and link budget needed, this type of transmission should be applicable in tropical area with similar rain pattern at its uplink and downlink path.
