Abstract
This study analyzed Internet word of mouth of resort hotel customers, using web mining technology to capture data from Yam blog, for the research period from January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009. A total of 385 effective samples were collected for empirical study by text processing and correspondence analysis methods. The research results indicated that, customers of scenic area hotels are most concerned about environment and landscape; those of amusement park and spa hotels are most concerned about spa facilities; and those of metropolitan hotels are most concerned with meal quality. Since scenic are hotels and spa hotels are highly concentrated in the same area, they are often more competitive in service items.
