Abstract :
The results of experimental investigation of the galvano-thermomagnetic effects anisotropy in thin single crystals Bi-wires are given. It was used the sample of two different orientation: a) the third order crystal axis C3 is parallel to the wire one and b) the wire axis is orientated in I-L direction in the reduced Brillouin zone. It was used the wires with diameter d ≥ 0.1 μm, the temperature range 4.2 ≤ T ≤ 300 K and transverse magnetic field up to 40 kOe. At low temperatures a qualitative difference in diameter changing of the angular diagrams structure have been found. It is established that in thin crystals wires of Bi and Bi-Sn alloys at temperatures below 200 K the values of thermoelectric parameters can be altered in rather large limits.
