ITO (indium-tin oxide) conductive glass plate was used as a support of TiO2 film. TiCl4 was selected as a precursor to prepare the TiO2/ITO film coated through sol-gel process. Raman and SEM techniques were used for the characterization of the TiO2/ITO film. The photocatalytic activity was evaluated by the photocatalytic decomposition of acetic acid-the main pollutant in furfural wastewater. The influence of some parameters on the catalytic activity was investigated including heat-treated temperature, time and coating layers. It is found that the activity of TiO2/ITO is higher than that of equivalent TiO2 nanopowders.
