Abstract :
An experimental hyper-bridge chip is developed for the efficient data transfer for multimedia-data encoding system. The chip utilizes new technologies such as a multi-DMAC data transfer with dual bus, a seamless bus driving, and an access unit block-transfer. The chip with six I/O ports is designed and fabricated in a 0.35-um CMOS technology
