Abstract :
Although personal search history is the important information for search engine users, it is not stored and used well. This paper starts with the experience of general users to find and analyze problems, further investigates users subdivision, selects teachers in universities as the representatives of knowledge workers to analyze their demands. Base on the theory of cognition viewpoint, knowledge architecture and man-machine interface, we present function design recommendation of ldquopersonal search historyrdquo by complete storage process of effective search event, management of retrieval expression, annotation and visualization, which can also can support of personal knowledge architecture.
