Abstract
About 100 years ago, design played an important role for human beings. That was the realization of harmonious life between man and machine. Now, design faces a rather difficult theme. It goes without saying that the theme is realization of harmonious life between man and environment. The author thinks design would contribute to it in various kinds of ways. The author believes one of the most important things among them is that design for environmental protection should make for a more attractive life
