Abstract :
The paper presents a restoration procedure for power systems, useful for recovery entities acquisition under a liberalized arrangement. The basic concept is that a black-outed network can be restored starting from a source available at a node, by sequentially connecting the adjacent nodes, that is buses that can be reached by closing a single line. The entities connected to adjacent nodes (generation or load) represent the "targets" of the procedure, whose main goals are to restore nodes as soon as possible in order to save time, so to minimize the unsupplied energy. These objectives are pursued while maintaining the significant quantities (voltage, current, frequency) inside their range at each stage of the strategy. The main characteristic of the presented procedure is its flexibility that allows the search of alternative paths when some of the quantities are out of range. Results are presented with reference to a 30-buses test system
