Abstract :
There are increasing hordes of education information systems built for domain-specific education applications across the Internet and Intranets. However, the utility efficiency of these distributed education resources is low. To improve interoperability, resource reusability and education system integration, this paper presented SSOA-E, a semantic service oriented architecture for education information system integration. SSOA-E includes four layers: education resource layer, semantic service layer, education application layer, and user interface layer. Based on SSOA-E, an application of education system integration is given. Application results show that SSOA-E can make distributed education applications integrated at semantic level and achieve more effective utility of education resources.
