Notice of Retraction

Due to their large surface areas and physical-chemical force, the cohesive sediment takes on some unique characteristics which are not presented by non-cohesive sediment. In order to study the characteristics of cohesive sediment, laboratory experiments are conducted to research the effects of sediment concentration, salinity and turbulence motion on the settling velocity under the action of flocculation.
