A mathematical simulation was applied to study the tidal current and sediments transport in DaPengao. The two-dimensional tidal current and sediment mathematical models were established in this study. The tidal current model was verified to be stable and reasonable. The changes of the current field before and after the construction and the sediments transport in and near the area of the project to be built-QiXing bay in DaPenao sea area have been discussed. The results clearly show that the tidal flow pattern in case 2 is much better than in case 1. A beach could be formed near the western breakwater in case 1, which will result in the deposition of the entrance and affect the berthing stability. According to the results of the simulation of tidal current and the sediments transport, case 2 is preferred in the breakwater construction of QiXing bay.
