  • Abstract
    Floating-gate devices will be used in CMOS mixed-signal systems to eliminate the effects of device mismatch. Floating-gate transistors are programmed using a mixed-signal programming circuitry. This architecture allows programming of multitudes of floating gates automatically. Using floating-gate transistors, we will remove the input-referred offset voltage from differential pairs. Also, floating gates will be used in current mirrors to program out asymmetries in the output current. Combining the differential pair and current mirror, we create a fully balanced operational transconductance amplifier implemented using the mixed-signal programming architecture. Experimental results will show the performance of the balanced OTA.
