            Abstract : 
Histogram equalization is a very useful method for contrast enhancement. The brightness of the output image has nothing to do with the brightness of the input image. The paper proposed a new algorithm which based on the minimum mean brightness error bi-histogram equalization and the local histogram equalization. Simulation results prove that the new algorithm is better than other algorithms.
