Abstract :
BOM (bill of materials) is the basal and important data in the application of material requirement account, product data management and product configuration. Its veracity and integrality affect the applications directly. The research status of BOM is discussed. The essence of BOM notion is nailed down. The transform from design BOM to manufacturing BOM and stock BOM in detail is analyzed. This transform in the application of injection molding machine is studied. And the configuration model of injection molding machine and transform model of the BOM is established. A practice application is demonstrated to show that such technology is applicable and effective
