  • Abstract
    A fast decompositional algorithm for generalized stack filters, which form a wide class of nonlinear filters, are presented. It based on the search through the threshold levels using Fibonacci p-codes. When p is large this algorithm is close to the complete threshold decomposition, and when p=0 is the binary threshold decomposition. Architecture implementing proposed algorithm is suggested
