  • Abstract
Polarization phenomena including charge storage, transport, relaxation and conduction a breakdown mechanism of dielectric/electrets materials have been the subject of considerable study and research for the long time. But almost all works which have been carried out are under the influence of electric field only. In this paper dielectric relaxation under the influence of cross magnetic field has been presented which has not been reported so for. A mathematical equation for activation energy in presence of cross magnetic field has been developed and its influence on relaxation time has been predicted. It has been proved further mathematically that microscopic (molecular) relaxation time will be greater when a cross magnetic field is applied to a dielectric/electret materials
