Abstract :
The authors injected glucose into the thigh of a rabbit (age l year, New Zealand breed). After 30 minutes, the authors measured the blood flow (ml/min/100g of tissue), blood velocity and blood volume of a capillary located in the inner side of the ear using a laser Doppler velocimeter (LDV). Blood volume is defined as the average number of Doppler shifts per photon. The authors collected the data from the LDV probe fixed on the ear of the rabbit. They processed the raw data with time series analysis of a chaos analysis system. The analyzed results show clearly the response of blood flow in accordance with glucose variation
